How we handle your personal information

As a fee-only fiduciary advisor, we hold ourselves to confidentiality standards that go beyond what federal law requires. This page explains what we collect, who we share it with, and how you can limit that sharing.

Last reviewed September 2026  ·  Applies to all clients and prospective clients of Cadence Wealth Partners, LLC

Information we collect

We collect nonpublic personal information about you that you provide to us directly, or that we obtain with your authorization. Depending on the services you use, this can include:

  • Social Security number and date of birth
  • Banking information
  • Financial account numbers and balances
  • Sources of income
  • Credit card numbers and related information

If you stop working with us, we continue to treat your information according to the policies on this page.

How we share it

Every advisory firm needs to share some client information to run its everyday business. The reasons we may share yours are:

  • Everyday business purposes — processing transactions, maintaining your accounts, responding to court orders or legal investigations, or reporting to credit bureaus
  • Our own marketing — letting you know about our products and services
  • Joint marketing with other financial companies
  • Our affiliates' everyday business purposes — including information about your transactions, experiences, and creditworthiness
  • Non-affiliated companies who wish to market to you

If you're a new client, sharing may begin the day you sign our advisory agreement. This continues even after you're no longer a client, unless you contact us to limit it — see "Your right to opt out" below.

How we protect it

We use safeguards that comply with federal law to keep your information secure, including computer-based protections and secured physical files and offices.

Your right to opt out

Federal law gives you the right to limit some — though not all — sharing of your personal information. You can opt out of:

  • Sharing for an affiliate's everyday business purposes, specifically information about your creditworthiness
  • Sharing with affiliates or non-affiliates who would use your information to market to you

State law, or our own internal policies, may give you additional rights beyond these. If you'd like to opt out of any type of sharing described here, contact us right away and we'll take care of it.
